Public Notice McClane Canyon Mining, LLC, 2352 N 7th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, CO, 81501, has submitted a complete application for a technical revision (TR -19) to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety for its McClane Canyon Mine, mining permit No. C-1980-004. The proposed revision will temporarily suspend monitoring of alluvial wells and surface water at the mine. The McClane Canyon Mine is located approximately 19 miles north of Loma, CO along State Highway 139. East Salt Creek is immediately west of the permit boundary. The permit area is encompassed within the following lands: Township 7 South, Range 102 West, 6t" P.M. Section 3: Portions of lot 14 Section 14: SW/4NW/4 Section 15: All Section 16: E/2 Section 21: E/2, E/2W/2, SW4NW/4, NW/4SW/4 Section 22: All Section 23: W/2NW/4, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 Section 26: NW/4NW/4 Section 27: All Section 28: NW/4NE/4, NE/4NW/4 Section 34: N/2 Containing 3562 acres, more or less. The location of these sections is contained within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Howard Canyon and Garvey Canyon Quadrangle maps. A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's office, 200 S Spruce St., Grand Junction, CO.
