tered on this site . When reclamation is complete the overall
grade of the disturbed area will remain sloping from south to
north and east to west to preserve the natural drainage pattern.
The base of the development area will be natural material that
will allow stormwater to soak into the ground. Ms . Evans will
commit to not mining within 2 feet or the groundwater table.
The final slopes along the east side will be graded 3h to lv
leaving a stable slope on that side that will prevent any off
site impacts . The north, west and south sides will be daylighted
out the side to match the floor of the Thompson Resources . Since
no slopes will be created on these sides the excavated area will
be stable and their configuration prevent off site damage .
During leveling the material will be moved into the Thompson
Resource in agreement with Reclamation Ridge LLC the operators on
the mine. T that area is covered by a Reclamation Permit and any
disturbance will be reclaimed during normal reclamation activi-
ties at that mine.
Grading and shaping will run concurrent with mining so that
if the project ended prematurely only resoiling of the disturbed
area, grading, shaping and resoiling would be needed.
Of the 9 . 99 acres ± in the permit area, approximately 7 . 0
acres ± will be disturbed. The remaining 2 . 99 acres will be the
undisturbed are on the north. A 10 foot setback is used on the
east to maximize the amount of level area that can be developed.
The material will be excavated using scrapers and if needed
push dozers . All of the material will be removed as pit run with
no processing taking place on the site . The RECLAMATION PLAN MAP-E-2
shows how the area will look when mining ends and reclamation is
complete.
On-site equipment may include, but is not limited to, motor
graders, motor scrapers, dozers and a water truck.
All material will be transported off site for disposal,
meaning no processing will take place on the project area. We
expect the grading project to last for less then 8 months weather
permitting.
When topsoil is encountered, it will be stripped and stock-
piled around the perimeter of the site or on the floor for use in
reclamation. We will place an average of eight (8) inches of
salvaged topsoil on the slopes . The floor will not be topsoiled
initially as it will be under development until the facility are
constructed. Topsoil will be saved for the area needing
resoiling after the strictures and arena is completed. If the
soil stockpiles remain undisturbed for more than one growing
season it will be temporarily seeded using the approved seed mix
at a rate of 12 . 8 lbs-pls per acre.
Track 4 Grading Project July 22,2020
C-4
