F( BLUE <br /> I � VALLEY RANCH <br /> 6915 Highway 9 • Kremmling,CO 80459 <br /> 970.724.3768 • Info@BlueValleyRanch.com <br /> July 10, 2020 <br /> Baxter Kirkland <br /> Kirkland Construction, LLLP <br /> PO Box 580 <br /> Rye,CO 81069 <br /> Dear Mr.Kirkland: <br /> Blue Valley Ranch has reviewed a copy of the June 17, 2020 inspection report for the Blue Valley Pit <br /> (Permit t#M-2015-008),completed by Peter Hays with the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety as <br /> part of the Division's monitoring inspection program.The report documented stable, properly graded <br /> slopes with no evidence of erosion,and a diversity of established vegetation that has shown <br /> improvement every year during reclamation.Overall,the site was"well-vegetated,stable and consistent <br /> with the approved post-mining land use of rangeland." <br /> Blue Valley Ranch is also satisfied with the condition of the 30-acre Blue Valley Pit site and the <br /> reclamation efforts, and we concur with the report's recommendation for a full and final release of the <br /> site area. <br /> In the future, Blue Valley Ranch intends to continue to use the site as rangeland and incorporate it into <br /> the Ranch's prescribed grazing program.The site will also be included in the Ranch's Integrated Weed <br /> Management program, and further vegetation succession will continue to be documented under the <br /> Ranch's monitoring program. <br /> Thanks for your work on the reclamation efforts,and for partnering with Blue Valley Ranch as good land <br /> stewards.Please let me know if you have any questions. <br /> Best Regards, <br /> Brett Davidson <br /> Blue Valley Ranch <br />
