Golden,Colorado 80403 <br /> Ph#(303)279-4150 Fax#(303)279-4799 <br /> Exhibit G — Water Information <br /> A desktop survey was conducted utilizing the 'USGS National Water Information System: <br /> Mapper'. All wells within one mile, and a few outside of a mile, were analyzed for recorded <br /> groundwater readings. The lowest point on the property, existing or design, has an elevation of <br /> 5408 Ft. The highest groundwater reading of the surveyed wells was 5379 Ft, putting the lowest <br /> point 29 Ft above the measured groundwater. Worth noting is the well with the highest ground <br /> water reading is the well furthest away to the southwest of the proposed affected land.The <br /> groundwater elevations decrease heading to the north and west making the groundwater <br /> elevation at the affected area lower than the highest elevation of 5379 Ft mentioned above. <br /> Test holes have been dug within the proposed affected land to an approximate depth of 10-15 <br /> Ft below existing ground elevations at various locations around the proposed affected land and <br /> no groundwater has been encountered. With the information gathered from onsite test holes <br /> and the USGS Desktop Survey it is not anticipated that any groundwater will be encountered <br /> during the course of mining operations. If groundwater is encountered during the mining <br /> operation the area will immediately be filled back in and compacted. Following soil <br /> replacement, the area where groundwater was encountered will be delineated and avoided. A <br /> site specific plan will also be created and implemented if groundwater is encountered. <br /> During the mining operation water will be needed for dust control. The water application rate is <br /> highly dependent on the capacity at which traffic is moving through the mine on a given day. <br /> Assuming 2S0 tractor trailers move through the site a day, an estimated 24,000 gallons of water <br /> will be needed to control the dust from the mining operations and the trucks hauling on and <br /> offsite.The water source for the mine will be from a local fire hydrant. <br /> In the state of Colorado NPDES permits are issued from the EPA for permits on tribal lands and <br /> federal facilities. The authority to issue other permits has been delegated to the Colorado <br /> Department of Health and Environment. A CDPS General Permit COR400000 has already been <br /> issued for the proposed mine site by Colorado Water Quality Control Division. Pending approval <br /> of the Reclamation Permit Application the current permit will be amended to include the <br /> additional disturbance area shown in the application documents . <br />
