2.05.4 - RECLAMATION PLAN <br />RECLAMATION TIMETABLE <br />After completion of mining the following sequence of reclamation events <br />will occur. These actions are estimated to take the specified amount of <br />time but GCC Energy, LLC does not commit to any specified timeframe. <br />Certain activities may be accelerated or delayed dependent on season <br />and whether they can be carried on contemporaneously with other <br />activities. <br />ACTIVITY <br />ESTIMATED <br />TIMEFRAME <br />Mine Portal Sealing <br />One month <br />Demolition and Removal of Structures <br />Four months <br />Backfilling and Grading <br />Six months <br />Re -Establishment of Surface Drainages <br />Two months <br />Re-Topsoiling <br />Two months <br />Reve etation <br />One Month <br />Removal of Sediment Control Structures, Re- <br />Topsoiling, and Reve etation <br />Two months <br />two years later <br />Reve etation Monitoring <br />Biennially <br />RECLAMATION COSTS <br />The most recent cost estimate are be contained in Appendix 12. <br />REMOVAL OF SURFACE FACILITIES <br />All mine surface facilities, shown on the Operations Plan and Surface <br />Features Map (King II -007), will be disassembled or removed from the <br />mine site. The foundations, steel, and other non -woody material that <br />cannot be sold for salvage will be pushed against the high -wall and <br />covered by at least four (4) feet of non-toxic non-combustible fill and <br />topsoil. Woody material will be removed from the mine site or burned. <br />All necessary county and state approvals will be obtained prior to <br />burying any demolition debris on the site. <br />The following surface facilities and structures will be disassembled, <br />removed, or otherwise reclaimed as described below.
