BLM has <br /> reviewed the Succession of Operator and found it complete, following a review of the application and <br /> receiving the required financial requirement of$2,219,per 43 CFR 3809.551 regs. <br /> According to our records, the Plan of Operations submitted for mining activities at this location was <br /> initially analyzed under the Environmental Assessment(EA) number DOI-BLM-CO-F02-2014-0001-EA <br /> and authorized by BLM on July 09, 2015. A modification to the Plan of Operations to include dredging <br /> operations, was analyzed under DOI-BLM-CO-F020-2018-0041-EA and authorized on November 20, <br /> 2019. <br /> BLM last inspected the above operations on March 03, 2020. Once your reclamation bond is posted and <br /> the current bond is released to Thomas Zimmerman, a baseline inspection will be conducted to document <br /> all mining related disturbance and any interim reclamation. <br /> As the new operator, you are obligated to coordinate with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining <br /> and Safety (CDRMS) and any other Federal, State or county agencies regarding the appropriate <br /> paperwork required to transfer any mining related bonds,permits, easements, leases, etc. <br /> Please contact Stephanie Carter at 719-269-8551 if you have any questions regarding this letter. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> �j <br /> Keith E.
