(TMI) <br />CC: Jim Stark and Jared Ebert, Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) <br />Re: Trapper Mine, C-1981-010, Mine Plan Update (PR9) 10 December 2019 Meeting Discussion. <br />Dear: Mr. Luke, <br />Thank you for meeting with DRMS on Tuesday 10 December 2019 to discuss the mine plan update <br />comprising PR9 and the N Pit mining scenario. As we discussed, below is a list of Rules applicable to our <br />conversation pertaining to mining in the N Pit and backfilling and grading of the L Pit. Also, as we discussed <br />DRMS is in the process of reviewing your latest submittal received on November 27, 2019 and will provide <br />any applicable adequacy items to you as soon as possible. <br />N Pit highwall mining <br />o Zero Subsidence, applicable performance standards of Rule 4.23 <br />N Pit out of pit spoil storage <br />o Rule 4.14.1(2)(e) and (h) and Rule 4.14.2(1) <br />o A certified engineering plan for the storage area addressing stability and drainage <br />issues shall be submitted by TMI. <br />0 4.09.1 and 2 as applicable construction requirements and as per 4.10.4 <br />0 4.10 as applicable <br />0 4.11 <br />0 2.05.3(8) <br />L Pit, approximate original contour (AOC) variance and the proposed revision to the post mine <br />topography. The following rules shall be thoroughly addressed in any request for variance: <br />0 2.06.4 — Requirements for Steep Slope Mining <br />o Requires demonstration of compliance with Rule 4.27.3 <br />0 2.06.5 — Variance from AOC for steep slope mining <br />o Demonstrate compliance with Rule 2.06.5(2) <br />■ Requires demonstration of compliance with Rule 4.27.4 <br />0 4.14 — Backfilling and Grading <br />0 4.27 Operations on Steep Slopes <br />DRMS values the productive working relationship with TMI and looks forward to receiving your updated mine <br />plan in the near future. <br />Best Regards <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http://mining.state.co.us <br />Jared S.
