PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> Seneca Property, LLC, 29515 Routt County Road 27, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, has requested release of Partial Phase <br /> II liability on 193 acres of its reclaimed lands at the Seneca Yoast Mine (CDRMS Permit No. C 1994-082, approved <br /> August 5, 1995). <br /> The Seneca Yoast Mine is located approximately 8.5 mile southwest of the Town of Hayden, Colorado, off of Routt <br /> County Road 27. The specific area to which this bond release request applies is included within the Permit Area located as <br /> follows: <br /> T6N, R87W <br /> Section 28: Portions of NW 11/4,NW'/4 SW '/4 , SW '/4NE '/4 <br /> Section 29: Portions of SE 1/4 <br /> Section 32: Portions of NW'/4 NE '/4 W '/2E '/2 <br /> T5N, R87W <br /> Section 5: Portions of W '/2 E'/2 <br /> Section 8: Portions of NW'/4, SW'/4,W'/2NE'/4, and W'/2SE'/4 <br /> Section 16: SW'/4NW'/4,NW'/4SW'/4 . and portions of SW'/4SW'/4 , <br /> NW'/4NW'/4 , SE'/4NW'/4, NE'/4SW'/4, and SW'/4 SE'/4 <br /> Section 17: All <br /> Section 18: NE'/4SE'/4, S'/2SE'/4 <br /> Section 19: E'/2 and portions of E'/2W'/2 <br /> Section 20: SW'/4NW'/4 N'/2NW'/4 W'/2 SW'/4 and portions of N'/2NE'/4 <br /> Section 29: N W'/4 N W'/4 <br /> Section 30: N'/2NW'/4 <br /> All located west of the 6th Principal Meridian;totaling 2318.3 acres,of which 193 acres for Phase II Release are requested in <br /> the Bond Release Application (SL-8). The USGS 7.5 Minute Quadrangle maps for Dunckley and Mt. Harris contain the <br /> described affected area. <br /> A Corporate Surety Bond in the amount of$1,379,988.51 is currently in place of which $400,000 is being requested for <br /> release. Pursuant to Rule 3.01.1,A permittee may request Phase II bond Release upon the establishment of vegetation which <br /> supports the approved postmining land use and which meets the approved success standard for cover. The portion of the <br /> mine for which Bond Release is being requested consists primarily of permanent roads, permanent ponds, and previously <br /> Phase I released areas. Reclamation of the disturbed mining areas and demolition of non-permanent structures occurred <br /> throughout the reclamation phases from 1997 through 2013. The approved reclamation plan can be viewed in its entirety in <br /> the Seneca Yoast Mine Permit Application Package located at the Twentymile Mine Office, Oak Creek, Colorado. <br /> A copy of the SL-8 bond release application is available for public inspection at the Twentymile Mine Office, 29515 <br /> Routt County Road 27, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467. Written comments or objections or requests for public hearing or <br /> informal conference concerning this application may be submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the <br /> Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203-2273, <br /> (303) 866-3567. Comments must be received within 30 days of the last publication of this notice or within 30 days of the <br /> onsite inspection,whichever is later. <br />
