EXHIBIT L RECLAMATION COSTS
The worst case of reclamation is when mining has completed in the Phase 1 and 2 areas on the
eastern half of the permit area. The Camilletti Pit area (western half) has already been topsoiled
and revegetated as of 2017. The reclamation tasks breakdown as follows:
1. Demolition of asphalt plant and support facilities.
2. Transport backfill material to highwalls in Phase 3 area.
3. Establish 3H:1 V slopes in Phase 3 area.
4. Grade stockpiles.
5. Rip pit floor in Phase 2 and 3 area; Transport topsoil from stockpiles; Distribute topsoil.
6. Revegetate disturbed areas.
7. Mobilization.
Costs for these reclamation tasks are based on bond calculations conducted by the Division in
2016, prior to the completion of Camilletti revegetation, and are shown in Table L-1.
Table L-1 - Reclamation Task and Cost Estimate
Activity Description
•Demolition of asphalt plant and support facilities 1
32000
Transport backfill material to highwalls in Phase 3 area. 2 7000
Establish 3H:1V slopes in Phase 3 area.
