Compliance With Mine Plan <br />N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />N - Other <br />N - Special Categories Of Mining <br />N - Processing Waste <br />N - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Yoast Mine, C1994082, operated by Seneca Property LLC. <br />The inspection was conducted aerially by Brock Bowles. The images were analyzed and the report <br />prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. Skies appeared to have high clouds. Ponds were <br />receiving inflow from precipitation and snow melt and in some cases were also discharging. The <br />established vegetation was beginning to green. <br />PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br />o Partial combined phase II/III and phase III bond release request is under analysis at DRMS. <br />o Permit Renewal No 5 is in process. <br />INSPECTION: <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE.- <br />Reclamation <br />OMPLIANCE: <br />Reclamation is for the most part complete and executed as permitted. With the exception of structure pads that <br />will remain permanent, all structures have been demolished. <br />ROADS Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and <br />Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6) 4.03.2(5) and (6). <br />o Roads in and around the facilities appeared in good repair and functioning adequately. <br />o No standing water or rutting was noted in the imagery. <br />o No activity is going on at the site. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE- Rule 4.05 <br />General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland <br />Flow 4.05.3; Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures <br />4.05.7; Impoundments 4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; <br />Surface and Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />o Reconstructed drainages appeared to be functioning adequately. <br />o Ponds for the most appeared stable and functioning adequately. <br />o Ponds were in some instances receiving inflow from recent precipitaion and snow melt and were also <br />discharging. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
