AMR anticipates bringing drill core and bulk samples from underground for offsite analysis. Drill
core brought to surface will be kept in standard wax covered cardboard core boxes and stored in
the cargo containers in the laydown area.
Bulk samples will be placed directly from underground into 1-ton super sacks that will be
temporarily stored on the laydown area. The maximum amount stored on site at any one time will
be 10 tons, and no sample will be on site longer than 90 consecutive days. While temporarily stored
on site, all bulk samples will be arranged neatly, well secured and tarped to prevent precipitation
from encountering the material stored in the sacks. As part of deactivating operations ahead of
each winter, all bulk samples will be removed from the site.
2a. Upon receipt, AMR will provide copies of the general construction stormwater permit and
explosives permit to the Division.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Sincerely,
Eli Doose
970-901-9924
elidoose@mac.com
