EXHIBIT H Skull Creek Sand Project
however,of a few individual animals within the much larger animal populations and distribution may not
represent a significant impact. None of the affected species are known sensitive species and any resultant
impacts will be compensated over the short and long term by normal animal reproduction.
Increased levels of human activity may result in indirect wildlife impacts including some alteration of
diurnal and seasonal animal movements. There may be some increase in wildlife disturbance due to the
noise, lights, and human activity levels required for surface mining activities.
Thus, it should be expected that the general effect during mining and continuing into the first two years
of final reclamation on the afore mentioned wildlife species that inhabit the 144.6 acres, will be a
temporary displacement, and a temporary loss of food and habitat until reclamation begins to mature.
With the afore mentioned impacts, and the Colorado Parks and Wildlife's comments for the protection of
mule deer and elk, Uinta Mining, LLC will commit to limiting and production and mining to the daylight
hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm from December 1 to April 15
4/20/2020
12
