Both letters reference concerns <br /> with wildlife, cultural, and well/water rights for the mining of Skull Creek mine. These <br /> comments include comments from the Office of Archeology and Historic Preservation, the <br /> Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the Colorado Division of Water Resources, and some local <br /> residents in opposition to the project. Uinta Mining has responded within the permit itself <br /> Included in the package are pages to the permit that have been revised along with some new <br /> documentation needed for justification. These pages and documents need to replace existing <br /> pages in the permit or documents that need to be included in the appropriate Exhibit. <br /> 1. UMC has committed to protecting and avoiding cultural sites 5MF783, 5MF785, <br /> 5MF1993, and 5ST784. Attached is the appropriate changes to the Cultural Exhibit <br /> 2. UMC has committed to one shift per day, from 10:00am to 3:00 pm, as recommended by <br /> the Colorado Parks and Wildlife. That time period on which these hours will be limited <br /> is from December 1 to April 15. Attached is the appropriate changes to Exhibit H- <br /> Wildlife information. <br /> 3. UMC has made the appropriate actions to be able to use the water rights and wells <br /> associated with the project. Revisions have been made to Exhibit G-Water information <br /> and new Documents showing the right to utilize the water from those wells have been <br /> included into the Exhibit. <br /> Ground water has been addressed within Exhibit G-Water information, page 3. <br />
