ALS
1910231
Metals:
The samples were analyzed following SW-846, 3rd Edition procedures. Analysis by ICPMS followed
method 6020B and the current revision of SOP 827. Mercury analysis by CVAA followed method
7470A and the current revision of SOP 812.
Matrix spike recoveries could not be evaluated for the following analyte:
Analyte Sample ID
Calcium 1910231-2
The concentration of this analyte in the native sample was greater than four times the
concentration of matrix spike added during the digestion. When sample concentration is that
much greater than the spike added, spike recoveries may not be accurate. The laboratory
control sample indicates that the digestion and analysis were in control.
All acceptance criteria were met.
Inorganics:
The samples were analyzed following SW-846, EMSL and Standard Method procedures for the
current revisions of the following SOPs and methods:
Analyte Method SOP #
Alkalinity SM2320B 1106
Bicarbonate SM2320B 1106
Carbonate SM2320B 1106
Total cyanide 9014 1110
Nitrate/nitrite as N 353.2 Revision 2.0 1127
pH SM4500-H+ B 1126
TDS SM2540C 1101
Chloride 300.0 Revision 2.1 1113
Fluoride 300.0 Revision 2.1 1113
Sulfate 300.0 Revision 2.1 1113
• Matrix spike recoveries could not be evaluated for the following analytes:
Analyte Sample ID
Sulfate 1910231-21
The sulfate concentration in the native sample was above the analytical range; therefore
accurate quantitation of the MS recovery was not possible. The LCS, ICV, and CCV
results indicate the procedure was in control for sulfate.
ADDRESS 225 Commerce Drive,Fort Collins Colorado 80524 USA PHONE+1 970 490 1 51 1 FAX+1 970 490 1 522 3 of 59
ALS GROUP USA,CORP.
