taCOLORADO
Division of Reclamation
Mining and Safety
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver,CO 80203
March 16, 2020
Notice of Continuance
Mined Land Reclamation Board Hearing March 25-26,2020
To all Parties and Interested Persons,
Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 virus on availability of State facilities and Division
resources, notice is hereby given that all matters originally noticed for the March 25-26`h 2020
Mined Land Reclamation Board hearing have been continued to April 22-23, 2020. We
anticipate that we will be able to convene again in person by April 22,however,the Division and
Board will reassess its ability to convene prior to the April hearing date to determining if further
continuance is necessary. Unless directed otherwise, the Board will still hold a March hearing
via conference call and/or zoom, as required by Statute, on March 25. The only items on the
agenda for the March 25 hearing would be general business, Department/Division updates, and
consent agenda items, if any.
The continuance is in support of Governor Jared Polis's direction and the Colorado Department
of Public Health Safety and Environment recommendations to limit meetings as part of the social
distancing objectives set out by the State of Colorado to help control the spread of COVID-19.
The Mined Land Board and the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety appreciate your
patience during this time. If further changes to the MLRB schedule are necessary you will be
contacted.
If you have any questions please call or e-mail me for additional information or guidance.
Sincerely,44Ami/11
Russ Means
Minerals Program Director
Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety
Cc: Virginia Brannon, DRMS Director
Charles Kooyman, MLRB AGO
Jeff Fugate, DRMS AGO
Scott Schultz,DRMS AGO
of Foto
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http://mining.state.co.us *)
ri
Jared Polis,Governor I Daniel Gibbs, Executive Director I Virginia Brannon, Director f r 7r, •
