(Tri-State), is the parent company to <br /> Axial Basin Coal Company, which is the general partner to Colowyo Coal Company L.P. (Colowyo). <br /> Therefore,Tri-State on behalf of Colowyo is notifying you that Colowyo is submitting an application for <br /> Phase I performance bond release on areas backfilled and graded in 2019. This application for Phase I <br /> release,when submitted,will be denoted as SL-18. A Phase I bond release includes an evaluation of the <br /> backfilling and grading to the approved post-mining topography. <br /> This written notice is sent to you pursuant to Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and <br /> Safety Rule 3.032(1). Prior to filing a request for the bond release,Colowyo must send written notices in <br /> accordance Rule 3.03.2(1),of intention to seek bond release.
