11 March 2020 C-198 1-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE—Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Silty ation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6;Discharge Structures <br /> 4.05.7, 4.05.10;Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage- <br /> Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18 <br /> Unless otherwise noted, pond banks and dams appeared stable at the time of inspection. Spillways and <br /> flumes for the most part were inaccessible at the time of inspection. The following pond systems were <br /> visited or observed from the nearest accessible road: <br /> a) Impoundment H was holding water. Elaeognus angustifolia(Russian olive),trees are <br /> slated for removal this spring. <br /> b) Johnson 1 OR appeared full and was discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> c) West Pyeatt appeared full with ice remaining on the surface at the time of inspection. <br /> d) East Pyeatt#1 appeared iced over and was discharging at the time of inspection. The <br /> spillway appeared clear. The other East Pyeatt Ponds appeared ice covered at the time of <br /> inspection. <br /> e) Middle Pyeatt held a small amount water and was not discharging at the time of <br /> inspection. <br /> f) Grouse and Oak systems was observed from road, as access roads were inaccessible. The <br /> ponds appeared snow and ice covered. <br /> g) The Industrial Waste Pond appeared approximately half full. It had been pumped earlier <br /> in the week. Pumping recirculates the water to the wash bay. <br /> h) No Name pond system, appeared ice covered and discharging. <br /> i) Coyote,the large MSHA pond was holding water. <br /> j) Middle Flume was full and discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> k) East Flume Pond held a small amount of water. <br /> 1) East Middle Flume #1 Pond was full and discharging. Ice remained on the surface. <br /> m) Deacon Pond system was viewed from Knez Divide Road. The number two pond held a <br /> small amount of water/ice at the time of inspection <br /> n) Jeffway Pond was viewed from the Knez Divide Road. The pond appeared dry and the <br /> spillway clear. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />
