Post -Reclamation Site Drainage
The main drainage channels will be reconstructed and have been designed to pass a 100 -year, 24-
hour storm event (Appendix 2: Channel and Culvert Designs). All drainage outside of the
reconstructed channels will sheet flow down the reclaimed side slopes (3H:1 V) and across the
reclaimed pit floor, eventually infiltrating into the underlaying alluvium. Small ponds are
anticipated to form during reclamation from the collection of irrigation tailwater and some runoff.
All reconstructed channels are also discussed in Exhibit G and shown on Map F. All reclamation
ponds will be graded to 3H:1 V slopes or shallower.
7. Revegetation Success Criteria
Rangeland revegetation will be deemed adequate for the rangeland portion when erosion is
controlled, and the vegetation cover is similar to the existing cover and is considered satisfactory
according to Division standards. No shrub standard is proposed for the reclamation success criteria.
Rincon Materials E-5 Greg 1.wicki and As iatm PL1.('
February 2020
