Table E-2: Reclamation Timetable
Year
Pit 1 (reclamation
acres)
Pit 2 (reclamation
acres)
Pit 3 (reclamation Facilities Area
acres) (reclamation acres)
--.
IIII1IIIL-_
10
The timetable above is based on production of 225,000 tons of gravel per year. The mine life is
dependent on market forces and may lengthen or shorten depending on the construction market
requirements for material but is estimated to be 10 years. Roughly two years of final reclamation
and vegetation monitoring will be needed.
5. Revegetation Plan
The post mining land use will be comprised of two separate vegetation regimes, irrigated pasture
and rangeland. These two regimes will require different seed mixes in order to be successful. The
rangeland seed mix in detailed in Table E-3 and the irrigated pasture seed mix is detailed in Table
E-4.
5.1 Rangeland Post Mining Land Use
The rangeland reclamation seed mix is intended to restore a vegetation community that is good for
cattle and/or sheep grazing and deer/elk grazing but the mix also contains shrub seed which could
potentially result in sage grouse use in the future. This seed mix will not require continuing
irrigation and will be able to thrive on natural precipitation. Many years of experience in reclaiming
sites such as this have shown that although the reclamation seed mix contains considerable grasses
Rincon Materials E-3 CnV Ixwickt and Associates, PLLC
February 2020
