We are happy to make a site visit
and assist in treating the noxious weeds present at this location, such as knapweed (diffuse,
Russian or spotted) as noted per our conversation. As it is currently the dormant portion of the
season for this species, treatment will need to take place during peak growing season for best
results. This could be from June to July, depending on how weather effects the growth stages of
this species. Once it has emerged from its dormant stage Fremont County Weed Management
can take the opportunity to treat as needed. We will try to make an effort to reach out in that
time period to treat. Though this is our busy season as well, and getting in contact with our
department around that time would help in securing this date. We look forward to working with
you this season and hope to be in contact with you in the near future.
Best regards,
Brittany Pierce
Weed Management Director- Fremont County
201 N. 6th St., Room 118
Canon City, CO 81212
Office:719-276-7317
Cell: 719-429-4753
