I would prefer that Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, LLC <br />(Elk Ridge) not be required to reclaim the road. <br />Absent this request, the haul road would be reclaimed in accordance with the Colorado Division <br />of Reclamation Mining and Safety ("CDRMS") Rule 4.03.1(7). However, under Rule 4.03.1(fxii), <br />the landowner, upon request, is allowed to retain the haul road after mining and reclamation <br />operations have ceased. <br />i, James Richards, provide this letter so that Elk Ridge may document this request in its permit <br />application (Permit No. C-1981-008) to CDRMS in accordance with Rule 4.03.1(0(ii).
