Raymond Mine Limited Impact 110(2) Permit Application
Exhibit A—Legal Description and Location Map (Rule 6.3.1)
The map below shows the Raymond Mine site as a red diamond, located East of Gunnison (via US Hwy
50) and North of Ohio City(on County Road 771), in Gunnison County, Colorado.
The four separate areas comprising the Raymond Mine permitted area range from 9,100 to 10,600 ft in
elevation. All are sites that have been previously disturbed by mining activity, and all sites are
surrounded by native forests. Predominant forest cover consists of Douglas-fir, Lodgepole pine, and
Engelmann spruce. Understory species include low juniper, shrubby cinquefoil, and buffaloberry.
Grasses and forbs include sedges, brome, bluegrass, asters, and arnica.
The land is generally sloped from about 5%to 35%. The surface is varied, consisting of shallow soils to
rocky outcrop to barren disturbed land.
For more detailed descriptions of all areas please refer to mining plan in Exhibit C, maps in Exhibit E, and
vegetation and soil information in Exhibit B.
TOPO! map printed on 01/02/20 from "Carter location.jpg.tpo"
106044.000' W 106033.000' W WGS84 106014.000' W
o' a Z
f!
$3 62- a 80 O
Cf t 3.Htsry 4, 0
o 51 PI Aim t 1J G T o
00 t 4 ♦y q r
r
1 } -
Z .jam i 4a 4
sigail Pk
0 lam'`
0 f
k J ._ 0
J a'
m Map created ithR*L 0 6 National Geographicc°*
106044.000' W 106033.000 W WGS84 106014.000' W
TN MN
NATIONAL 0 5 10 15 20 25 maies 91h°
GEOGRAPHIC 0 5 10 15' 1 20 25 30 35 40 km
01/02/20
The legal descriptions of the four parcels of this permit, which together comprise 8.60 acres, are:
Raymond Mine 4.30 ac, NE1/4 NE1/4 SE1/4 Sec 1,T50N, BE, NMPM
Upper Raymond Portal 1.80 ac, SE1/4 SW1/4 Sec 1,T50N, RISE, NMPM
Chloride Portal 2.00 ac, SW1/4 SW1/4 NW1/4 Sec 7,T50N, R4E, NMPM
Grand Prize Raise 0.50 ac, NW1/4 NW1/4 SW1/4 Sec 7,T50N, R4E, NMPM
