Weed Plan
All Rite Paving and Redi Mix, Inc. has consulted with the Otero County Extension Agent, Bruce
Fickenscher,to determine the best method for the control of tamarisk. We will monitor the presence of
tamarisk each spring and evaluate the need for control measures. If tamarisk is present, the first
measure taken will be to mechanically remove and burn onsite. If this is unsuccessful at controlling the
tamarisk, an herbicide approved by the Otero County Extension Agent will be applied.
Post-treatment monitoring will occur quarterly to ensure that the tamarisk is controlled.
