Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N - Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Roadside Portals Mine conducted on January 22,2020. The inspection was <br /> conducted by Clayton Wein of the Division. Tonya Hammond of Snowcap Coal Company(SCC)was present for <br /> the inspection. The weather wascloudy with a temperature of 34 degrees F. The ground was covered in a couple <br /> inches of snow. <br /> Due to an error,the photographs taken during the inspection have not been able to be downloaded from the <br /> camera. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14 <br /> Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br /> Steep Slopes 4.14.2,4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> The TR-69 repair area was stable and had no indications of erosion. The site was covered in a couple <br /> inches of snow. The berms/sediment logs were intact. Disturbance boundary markers were visible and delineated <br /> the site. No off-site impacts were observed. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3: <br /> The A Substation was covered with snow during the inspection. The site was stable and there were no <br /> indications of erosion. The disturbance boundary markers were in place and in good condition. No off-site <br /> impacts had occurred. The landowner's ditch adjacent to the A Substation remained in place. The ditch appeared <br /> to have been the same size as seen during the November 2019 inspection. No new disturbances were identified. <br /> The North Decline was covered with snow. The reclaimed area was stable and no erosional features were <br /> observed. The permanent diversion ditch was stable and there were no erosional issues identified. <br /> The conveyor footprint was mostly covered with snow during the inspection. The site was stable and there were <br /> no erosional concerns identified. Disturbance boundary markers were present at the site.
