Please provide the Division a copy of the SPCC plan for the site. <br /> See the SPCC plan for the site attached to this Preliminary Adequacy Response. Precise <br /> locations of fuel containment areas as well as tank volumes will be determined once operations <br /> begin. Prior to the start of mining, an updated and site-specific SPCC plan and map will be <br /> submitted to the Division. <br /> 34. Has the Applicant acquired(or has applied for) a National Pollutant Discharge <br /> Elimination System (NPDES)permit from the Water Quality Control Division at the <br /> Colorado Department of Health and Environment, if necessary. <br /> No NPDES permit is required with CDPHE as no discharge is designed from the site. However, <br /> a CDPHE combined process and stormwater discharge permit may be pursued and secured with <br /> CDPHE to cover the very unlikely event where stormwater would need to discharge from the <br /> site. <br /> Exhibit H—Wildlife Information (Rule 6.4.8) <br /> 35. Please commit to providing a copy of the wildlife survey results to the Division including <br /> but not limited to; Bat and Raptor Survey and Swift Fox Survey. <br /> Wildlife survey results will be shared with the Division once they are completed. A third party <br /> will be used to conduct all wildlife services including but not limited to Bat, Raptor, and Swift <br /> Fox. <br /> Exhibit J—Vegetation Information (Rule 6.4.10) <br /> 36. Please provide the relationship of present vegetation types to soil types, or alternatively, <br /> the information may be presented on a map pursuant to Rule 6.4.10(1)(b). <br /> NRCS Ecological Site Characteristics units have been added to C-1 Current Conditions and <br /> changes, including additional site photos featuring cool season conditions, are shown in Exhibit J <br /> text. NRCS Ecological Site Description profiles are included in Appendix 1 —Soil Report. <br /> Vegetation commonly found in each soil class is as follows and represent ideal communities; <br /> heavy grazing will result in altered community ratios with resultant dominant species listed in <br /> parentheses. <br /> • Clayey plains: western wheatgrass, blue grama, galleta, fourwing saltbush, winterfat, <br /> American vetch, purple prairie clover, and scarlet globemallow(blue grama and galleta). <br /> • Salt Meadow: alkali sacaton, switchgrass, prairie cordgrass, western wheatgrass, big <br /> bluestem, Indian grass, vine mesquite, Canada wild rye,Nebraska sedge, Baltic rush, <br /> little bluestem, slender wheatgrass, alkali cordgrass, inland salt grass, American licorice, <br /> Bradford Mesa—Preliminary Adequacy Response 9 <br />
