~~ ~J}C•• 2.~4 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND
MINING ACTIVITIES -MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR INFORMATION ON
ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES
This section of the permit provides a detailed and complete description of the
environmental resources that either have been or may be affected by the operation of the
coal loadout facility planned by TCC. The impacts or affects to the environmental
resources are very small or negligible primarily due to the small size of the affected area
for the TCC loadout facility. Only 13.6 acres have been disturbed. Since the site has
been disturbed prior to the requirements for formal permit applications, details of the
original existing environmental resources prior to site disturbance are not available
except for areas adjacent to the disturbed areas. The environmental resources adjacent to
the disturbed area are thought to be representative of the site specific affected area due to
its very small size. In addition, the area has been disturbed due to its agricultural land use
during the past several years.
• During 1993 TCC enlarged (widen) the gravel access road to the shop office area. The
widened access road serves as truck parking and maintenance area. The additional
disturbed area associated with this project was 0.6 acres. The total disturbed area
associated with the operation is a total 13.6 acres
• 2.04 - I
Rev. 6- l 5-93
Permit Renewal 3
/n R-- 7
