PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, LLC, P.O. Box 628, Nucla, CO 81424 has filed with the <br /> Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety an application for Technical Revision No. 96 (TR- <br /> 96) to the New Horizon Mine Permit No. C-1981-008. TR-96 provides the as-built configuration <br /> for the Goforth Stockpond(SP 1). <br /> The New Horizon Mine office is located at 27646 West 51h Street, P.O. Box 628, Nucla, <br /> Colorado. The permit area contains tracts of land located in Section 6, Township 46 North, <br /> Range 15 West; Section 31, Township 47 North, Range 15 West; Section 1 Township 46 North, <br /> Range 16 West; Section 36 Township 47 North, Range 16 West, of the New Mexico Principal <br /> Meridian, Montrose County, Colorado being more particularly described as follows: <br /> A portion of the South '/2 of Section 6, Township 46 North, Range 15 West, containing 27.01 <br /> acres; a portion of the South '/z of Section 6, Township 46 North, Range 15 West, containing <br /> 1.23 acres; a portion of the North %2 of Section 6, Township 46 North, Range 15 West, <br /> containing 8.88 acres; a portion of the Northwest '/4 of Section 6, Township 46 North, Range 15 <br /> West, containing 11.79 acres; a portion of the Southwest '/4 of Section 31, Township 47 North, <br /> Range 15 West, containing 119.43 acres; a portion of the South '/2 of Section 36, Township 47 <br /> North, Range 16 West, containing 253.30 acres; a portion of the North '/2 of Section 1, Township <br /> 46 North, Range 16 West, containing 114.01 acres; a portion of the Southwest '/4 of Section 25, <br /> Township 47 North, Range 16 West, containing 98.62 acres. In total, the New Horizon permit <br /> boundary contains 634.27 acres, more or less. The above mentioned tracts of land are shown on <br /> USGS 7.5 minute Nucla Quadrangle map. <br /> A copy of the complete technical revision application is available for public inspection at the <br /> Montrose County Courthouse Annex, Nucla, Colorado. Written comments or objections to the <br /> application may be submitted to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, <br /> 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, Telephone (303) 866-3567. Written comments <br /> and objections must be received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety within 10 <br /> days after the publication of the above notice. <br />
