Exhibit J Skull Creek Sand Project <br /> Inter-Mountain Basins Greasewood Flat <br /> This system usually occurs as a mosaic of multiple communities, with open to moderately dense <br /> shrublands dominated or codominated by Black greasewood (Sarcobatus vermiculatus). Other <br /> shrubs that are present to codominant in some occurrences include Fourwing saltbrush <br /> (Atriplex canescens), Shadscale saltbrush (Atriplex confertifolia), Wyoming big sagebrush <br /> (Artemisia tridentata ssp. Wyomingensis), or Basin big sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata ssp. <br /> Tridentate). The herbaceous layer, in some areas is dominated by graminoids. These are <br /> inclusions of Western wheatgrass (Pascopyrum smithii), Squirreltail (Elymus elymoides), Foxtail <br /> barley (Hordeum jubatum), Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis), or herbaceous types. The Inter- <br /> Mountain Basins Greasewood Flat comprises 3.1 acres of the 144.6 affected acres. <br /> Inter-Mountain Basins Mixed Salt Desert Scrub <br /> The vegetation is characterized by a typically open to moderately dense shrubland composed of one or <br /> more Atriplex species, such as Shadscale saltbrush (Atriplex confertifolia), Fourwing saltbrush (Atriplex <br /> canescens), or Mound saltbrush (Atriplex obovate). Other shrubs present to codominant may <br /> include Wyoming big sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata ssp. Wyomingensis), Low rabbitbrush <br /> (Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus), Rubber rabbitbrush (Ericameria nauseosa), Spiney hopsage (Grayia <br /> spinosa), Winterfat(Krascheninnikovia lanata), or Bud sagebrush (Picrothamnus desertorum.The <br /> herbaceous layer varies from sparse to moderately dense and is dominated by perennial graminoids <br /> such as Indian ricegrass (Achnatherum hymenoides), Blue grama (Bouteloua gracilis), Thickspike <br /> wheatgrass (Elymus lanceolatus ssp. Lanceolatus), Western wheatgrass(Pascopyrum smithii), Galleta <br /> grass (Pleuraphis jamesii), or Big bluegrass (Poa secunda). Various forbs are also present. The Inter- <br /> Mountain Basins Mixed Salt Desert Scrub comprises 2.0 acres of the 144.6 affected acres. <br /> Photos of the Affected Lands <br /> Photos of the affected land are included here and the location and orientation of their origin are <br /> depicted on Figure J-1 of this Exhibit. <br /> 3 <br />
