Exhibit C Skull Creek Sand Project
Project Area Description
The Skull Creek Sand Project is located approximately 2.7 miles NW of Massadona, CO on State
Lands. The Project Boundary encompasses approximately 484.6 acres of which there will be
approximately 144.6 acres of disturbance due to mining activities. Elevations of the Project
Boundary vary from 5,665 ft to 6,040 ft.
Adjacent Ownership
All adjoining surface owners of record are depicted on Map C-1.
Pre-Existing Structures and Features
Map C-2 depicts the name and location of all creeks and roads within two hundred (200) feet of
all boundaries of the affected area.
Maps C-8 and C-9 show the existing permanent structures within the affected lands and within
200' of the boundary of the affected lands, being the boundaries (25 feet from center, each
side of existing road). In this case, the structures are only on the Francis Lewis property, Parcel
1127354000111 and are reflected on drawing C-8. Power poles owned by Moon Lake Power
are reflected on drawing C-9. Both Moon Lake Power and Frances Lewis have signed
agreements for liability and have been incorporated into Exhibit S. There are no other existing
structures within or 200 feet from the boundaries of the affected lands.
Included in this narrative are photos of existing structures before mining or improving the
existing Old Mine Road for haul trucks.
1
11/7/2019
