This written notification is follow-up to the verbal
notification that was made to you via voicemail on December 20, 2019.
MNGW-1 was sampled during a normally scheduled monitoring event on December 3, 2019, with a pH
value of 6.2 standard units (s.u.). This exceeded the numeric protection limit (NPL) of 6.5-8.5. As required
by the Groundwater Management plan, a follow-up pH measurement was taken within 30 days on
December 17, 2019, resulting in a pH of 6.2 s.u.
These results do not appear to be anomalous or obvious outliers. If you have any additional questions or
concerns, please feel free to contact me at 720-942-3420.
Sincerely
Aaron Hilshorst
Chief Environmental Engineer
Climax Molybdenum Company
Henderson Operations
cc(via email):
M.
