December 16, 2019
Colorado Division of Reclamation,
Mining&Safety
1313 Sherman St, Room 215
Denver,CO 80203
Dear Elliott Russell:
The Reclamation plan cannot be made. It would be guess work and a
waste of money. I can say I will not leave any slopes of more than 4 to
1, most will be 3 to 1 and less.
The average depth of top soil is going to be one inch or less because
there is no top soil.
As you can see from the aerial no water course ways are cut into the soil
out of the 4.1 area. Because of this the slopes are grassed and gentle.
Only in the scares of the 1940 and 1950 mining did steep slopes evolve.
BLM states I am not responsible for those slopes. If you differ from this
opinion we need to get together at the site and resolve the issue.
Sincerely,
David Harvey(CBRG)
