RE: Extension Request for Decision Date on M2019052 SaturnX Mine
Dear Mr. Scott:
On behalf of the Colorado Sand Company,Applegate Group submitted a 112 Regular Reclamation Permit
Application for the SaturnX Mine. The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS)
assigned Permit No.M2019052 to this application,and is currently reviewing the application. The decision
date for the application is January 13,2020. DRMS has requested a site visit and pre-operation inspection,
with the date of this site visit to be in mid-to late-January 2020.
Applegate Group requests an extension of the application review period to February 29, 2020. The basis
for the extension request is to provide enough time to complete the site visit and pre-operation inspection,
which has been delayed due to holiday schedules.
