Annual Facility Inspection Checklist <br /> (SPCC Regulations, 40CFR Part 112) <br /> Cresson Project <br /> Annual Facility Inspection Instructions <br /> This annual inspection is meant to be a more detailed inspection of all the tanks covered under this plan. The <br /> following steps must be taken to complete the SPCC Annual Inspection: <br /> Tank Visual Inspection (Inspect Each Tank covered in the SPCC Plan specifically addressing the following: <br /> 1) Tank Surface show signs of leakage, corrosion, etc. <br /> 2) Do Bolts, Seams, or Supports show signs of damage? <br /> 3) Tank foundations show signs of erosion or settling? <br /> 4) Do alarms activate when triggered manually? <br /> 5) Can emergency vents move freely and are unobstructed? <br /> 6) Are all vents free and unobstructed? <br /> 7) Are filters, strainers, flame arrestors in good condition and not blocked? <br /> 8) Check for presence of water in the tank. <br /> Secondary Containment Condition (if not double walled tank): <br /> 1) Secondary Containment show signs of staining? <br /> 2) Is secondary containment drain valve locked or secured from tampering? <br /> 3) Does the Secondary wall have cracks penetrating through the wall? <br /> 4) If lined, does liner show signs of cracking, penetrations, or tears? If tank is a double walled tank, please refer <br /> to the tank visual inspection. <br /> 5) Are/Have all Cathodic Protection (If applicable) on tank system functioned according to design? <br /> 6) Are interstitial monitoring systems (sight gauges, or electronic indicators)visible and functioning properly? <br /> Piping, loading/unloading equipment and material transfer areas: <br /> 1) Do valves,joint, seals or gaskets show signs of leaking <br /> 2) Do pipe supports show signs of damage? <br /> 3) Are all labels visible and in good shape? <br /> 4) If traffic protection is present, does it show signs of damage? <br /> 5) Does loading area show signs of staining or leakage? <br /> 6) Are drip pans empty and free of product or liquid (If applicable)? <br /> Security and Lighting: <br /> 1) Are Fencing, Gates, and lighting intact and functional? <br /> 2) Are all pumps and valves locked out when not in use (Only applicable to manually operated tanks)? <br /> Spill Response Equipment: <br /> 1) Is all listed emergency response equipment and material present? <br /> 2) Has a spill kit inventory been performed? <br />
