December 11, 2019 G1981-018/Deserado Mine CCW
established. There were no indications of erosion or instability at the site. The perimeter ditches were dry and
stable. No obstructions in the ditches were seen.
SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04:
The main portals facilities were in good condition. Ditches throughout the area were clear of debris. The
out-slopes of the portals facility benches were vegetated and stable. One location on the south side of the prep
plant bench did appear to have minor erosion on it(Photo 7). The erosion appears at the top of the bench
leading down the side of the slope. One of the ditches for the bench is located below the erosional feature
and has contained the feature from progressing further down slope. No off-site impacts were observed from
this feature. The feature does not appear to be affecting the stability of the bench. A follow up site check of this
feature will be conducted during the next inspection. If the feature in minor, then repairs maybe conducted during
the spring maintenance. If the feature has enlarged in size by the next inspection, repairs maybe needed sooner.
No other erosional concerns were identified.
The Slot Storage was stable and in good condition. The out-slopes were vegetated and no indications of erosion
were seen. The pad for the Nitrogen Plant#2 was in good repair. No off-site impacts were observed.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: None
OTHER(SPECIFY): None
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 4
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2
Page 4 of 8
