6.4.12. Exhibit L — Reclamation Costs
As described above in6.4.4 Exhibit D Mining Plan, the permittee has chosen to
take a phased approach to surety bonding of reclamation costs.
To begin, a surety bond will be posted for Phase I which is defined as
reclamation of Cell 1 as shown in Exhibit F - Sheets 1, 2, 3 and 4 as well as
revegetation of Cell 6 (plant area) and the east conveyor disturbance area.
Before any disturbances occur outside of Phase I, additional surety will be posted
for Phase II which includes reclamation of Cell 2 as shown in Exhibit F - Sheets
1, 2, 3, 5,6 and 7. Before any disturbances occur outside of Phase II, additional
surety will be posted for Phase III which includes reclamation of Cells 3, 4, 5 and
6 as shown in Exhibit F Sheets 1, 2, 3 and 8-11. The following cost worksheets
have been separated out by phase. It should be noted that reclamation earthwork
volumes have been calculated utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D to model grading
surfaces which are compared with mining excavation surfaces to yield accurate
volumes of compacted clay liner volumes. Prior to posting surety bonding for
each phase, the permittee may choose to revise what each phase will cover by
submittal of a technical revision (TR).
Amen Aggregate Resource
Specific Exhibits
