COLORADO <br /> Division of Reclamation, <br /> Minnig and Safety <br /> Miranda Kawcak <br /> Twenty Mile Coal LLC <br /> 29515 Routt County Rd 927 <br /> Oak Creek, CO 80467 <br /> 3 December 2019 <br /> Re: Williams Fork Mine (Permit No. C1981-044) <br /> Review of 2019 Q3 Discharge Monitoring Reports <br /> Dear Ms. Kawcak: <br /> The Division has received and reviewed 2019 Quarter 3 Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) <br /> for the Williams Fork Mine. The report covers the period from July through September 2019. The <br /> Discharge Monitoring Report was received by the Division on 28 October 2019. <br /> Twenty Mile Coal submits the DMRs to the Division quarterly, in accordance with Rule <br /> 4.05.13(2)(a)(iii). Twenty Mile Coal reported that outfall 022 (spoil spring), discharged for the <br /> first three weeks of the quarter. Outfalls 003 and 024 did not discharge. Twenty Mile Coal <br /> reported that outfall 022 exceeded the primary effluent limitation in total recoverable iron during <br /> the quarter. <br /> All outfalls have been properly maintained and no ponds exceeded the 60%threshold for sediment <br /> accumulation. <br /> The Division does not have any questions or further comments at this time.
