INSPECTION TOPIC: Acid and toxic materials
All fuel and hazardous materials containers have been stored properly in secondary containment
until they can be taken offsite:
1) Materials that were not in sealed containers were transferred to five-gallon buckets with
lids.
2) Each item (also including the batteries as well as the empty containers) was placed in a
Husky contractor clean up bag. The bags are constructed of tear and puncture resistant
thick plastic and can contain all contents plus 10% of the total capacity. The bags were
twisted at the top and sealed with duct tape. Each bag is labeled with its contents.
3) A liner was put down on the ground of the steel building at the base area.
4) The items were placed upright in the steel building.
5) The building was secured with a Master Lock.
2
