November 20, 2019 G1981-018/Deserado Mine CCW <br /> Work on the RP-A Refuse area had begun. The area was being stripped of topsoil in preparation of creating the <br /> footprint for the pile and the associated sediment pond. There were no observed off-site impacts from the <br /> activities on the site. Topsoil was being transferred to the location for the new topsoil stockpile. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3),Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5)and <br /> (6)/4.03.2(5) and(6),Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Access roads throughout the mine site were in good repair. There were no observed erosional features or <br /> indications of instabilities. There were no observed off-site impacts. The Haul road was well maintained and <br /> stable. No erosional concerns were noted. The ditches associated with the road were clear of debris and stable. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The RP-1 Refuse Pile has been fully reclaimed. The site was stable with established vegetation. There <br /> were no indications of erosional features. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> Portals/Facilities Area- <br /> The main facilities area was well kept and stable. The outslopes of the benches were stable with established <br /> vegetation. There were no erosional features identified. The ditches throughout the area were functioning as <br /> designed to transport water to the DP-1 Pond. No blockages were seen. The fuel storage tanks were surrounded <br /> by a berm. The berm was stable with no erosion. <br /> Explosives Storage Area- <br /> The explosive storage area is located to the south of the portals/facilities area. The pad was in good condition. <br /> The rock fence on the east side of the pad was intact. The berms to the par were stable and vegetated. No <br /> erosional features were observed at the site. <br /> Conveyor Corridor- <br /> The conveyor corridor was well kept and there were no off-site impacts observed. Some of the belts on the <br /> conveyor were being replaced. <br /> B Vent Shaft No. 1 - <br /> the pad for the B Vent Shaft No. 1 was observed to be in good condition. The berms for the site were vegetated <br /> and stable. No off-site impacts had occurred. The cutslope was stable and there were no indications of erosion or <br /> instability. <br /> Slot Storage- <br /> The outslopes of the slot storage were vegetated and stable. No erosional features were observed. The pad on top <br /> was well kept. The berms on top were vegetated and stable. No off-site impacts were identified. <br /> Nitrogen Plant#2 - <br /> The pad for the nitrogen plant#2 was stable.
