L-5
over the preceding four(4)years, i.e., 3 mine blocks at132 acres (average mine block for
Years 11-13 plus 1 mine block at 127 acres(average mine block for Years 6-10),for a total
of 955 acres. Each year, the oldest reclaimed mine block will drop off the five-year
monitoring and maintenance period roster; thus, the assumed acreages for the successive
post-closure years are: (PC-2) = 701 acres; (PC-3)= 569 acres; (PC-4) =437 acres; (PC-
5) = 305 acres. CSC has assumed a per acre cost for this five-year monitoring and
maintenance period on a descending scale,on the basis that maintenance requirements will
likely decrease with each passing year.
Keenesburg No. 2 Mine_112 Reclamation Operation—November 22, 2019
