Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N - Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> R -Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the McClane Canyon Mine conducted on November 19,2019. The inspection <br /> was completed by Clayton Wein of the Division. Chuck Silengo of McClane Canyon Mining (MCM)was present <br /> for the inspection. The weather was clear with a temperature of 40 degrees F. The ground conditions were dry. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The records for the McClane Canyon Mine are located at the office of J.E. Stover and Associates in <br /> Grand Junction, CO. The records were well kept and up to date. Please see the attached Availability of Records <br /> form at the end of this report. <br /> FISH and WILDLIFE—Rule 4.18: <br /> During the inspection of the site, several tracks from deer were seen at the sediment pond. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The sediment pond was dry at the time of the inspection (Photo 1). The spillways for the pond were clear <br /> of debris. The embankments for the pond were stable and vegetated. There were no indications of erosion. <br /> There are two sumps located on the eastern (Photo 2)and northeastern section of the portals area. The sumps were <br /> dry during the inspection. There were no blockages identified at the spillways. No erosional features were <br /> identified. <br /> Sumps located along the haul road were observed to be dry(Photo 3). The inlets and outlets of the sumps were <br /> clear from debris. The sumps were stable and had no indications of erosional features. <br /> Two Sumps are located at the western edge of the office area(Photo 4). The sumps were dry and stable. Silt <br /> fences located at the outlet of the sumps were in good repair.
