Tucson Resource
Permit#M-2004-044 112 Permit Amendment
Dear Jared:
Please accept the attached application for an amendment to Aggregate Industries-WCR, Inc.
Tucson South 112 Permit#M-2004-044. The primary purpose of this application is to amend the
existing permit for the Tucson South site (M-2004-044) to add two parcels and an off-site
conveyor route to the mine permit boundary. The two parcels are owned by the City of Aurora
and the off-site conveyor route travels through property owned by the City of Thornton.
• Tract C—Adams County parcel#0157101000028, 5.0 acres owned by the City of
Aurora (formerly owned by Horiuchi (greenhouses);
• Tract G—Adams County parcel#0157101000017, 4.9 acres, owned by City of Aurora
(formerly owned by Mars); and
• Tract J —50' wide easement across Adams County Parcel #0157101002001, owned by
the City of Thornton.
Per our initial discussion, only the portion of the conveyor route located in Adams County is
included with this application. The remainder of the conveyor route will be located in Weld
County and permitted trough an amendment to the Wattenberg Lakes Mine (M2004-005).
In addition, the affected area has been reduced and several aspects of the proposed operation
have changed, most notably there will not be a processing plant on-site. Raw material will be
conveyed to Wattenberg Lakes Mine (M2004-005) located in Weld County.
The application materials include the following:
• APPLICATION FORM (Original and one copy);
• Application Fee; and
• Two complete paper copies of the following Exhibits
EXHIBIT A—Legal Description
EXHIBIT B— Index Map
EXHIBIT C—Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Maps of Affected Lands
EXHIBIT D—Mining Plan
EXHIBIT E— Reclamation Plan
EXHIBIT F—Reclamation Plan Map
RESOURCE CONSERVATION PARTNERS, LLC
p.o. box 1522, Longmont Colorado 80502 • tel 303.532.2262 fax 303.702.0585
