The weather was clear, and <br /> the ground was mostly dry. <br /> No Wolverine Fuels (BRL)representative participated in the field inspection. Basil Bear was present for the <br /> records check in the office. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The reclaimed East Mine ponds (1 —4) appeared to be stable, and were establishing a perennial vegetative cover. <br /> The reclaimed refuse pond at the East Mine continues to establish a healthy perennial vegetative community, with <br /> no rill or gullies forming. The erosion BMPs were working very well. <br /> The reclaimed Run of Mine (ROM)pond is generally in good shape,but some repair of BMPs is still needed, as <br /> noted in past reports. <br /> The ponds at the West Mine were dry; no problems were seen with the embankments. <br /> The ponds at the loadout and the Coal Storage Area(next to loadout)were dry, and no problems were identified <br /> with these ponds.
