APPENDIX 6.4.7-A2 <br /> Introduction <br /> Project Description <br /> Coulson Excavating is going to open a new gravel pit operation at the site at the northeast <br /> corner of Weld County Roads 13 and 54, hereafter referred to as the Amen Pit. This document <br /> details the necessary hydraulic modeling documentation needed to support a floodplain permit <br /> for the proposed gravel pit operations. A flood plain work map is included in Appendix A. All <br /> proposed work will comply with Weld County code Chapter 23 Article XI, a stamped certification <br /> stating this is attached in Appendix E. <br /> Project Location: <br /> The project site is located in the floodplain of the Big Thompson River on the northeast corner of <br /> Weld County Roads 13 and 54. A site map is shown below in Figure 1.
