This narrative attempts to describe the(now)clearly marked perimeter of the permit area as required
by our recent quarry inspection report. The center of the aerial photo shows an inverted L-shaed parcel
and to the lower right a smaller squarish parcel. These two comprise the currently permitted area to
which we refer.
Starting with Point A on the north end of the quarry. A very large
bluff to the north makes mining north of this point impractical.
The roadway between points A and B runs at the top of a ridge r;
that prevents mining to the west. The highway to the west of the ,,',
parcel boundary is the permit boundary, but in reality,mining
west of the dirt roadway between points A and B is not practical. ,->` =• + _'`.^r ' `'+
214
Point A, near the northern end of the ridge 4 `' +
E Point B. Notice the dirt roadway that runs north toward Point A. This
roadway is along the top of a ridge that prevents mining toward the
west. To the left(west)at the bottom of a precarious bluff is 1-70,which
.............7,
Is the parcel boundary.
•.Yr L.,L' ..fir .
Point C looking toward Point D.
