Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) has a statutory responsibility to manage all wildlife
species in Colorado. This responsibility is embraced and fulfilled through CPW's mission to
protect, preserve and enhance the State's wildlife resources for the people of Colorado, its
visitors, and future generations. In coordination with many other efforts, CPW strives to fulfill
this mission by consulting on land use activities that may impact wildlife and habitat.
CPW has reviewed the TR-134 application, which does not propose any additional surface
disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. CPW does not anticipate
significant negative impacts to wildlife from this project.
CPW appreciates the opportunity to review this proposal and actively participate in this
planning process. If you have any questions, please contact District Wildlife Manager, Ross
McGee, at (970) 942-7055.
Sincerely,
I d
Bill de Vergie, Area Wildlife Manager
CC: JT Romatzke, Regional Manager
Ross McGee, District Wildlife Manager
Etissa Slezak, Land Use Specialist
Dan Prenztow,Director,Colorado Parks and Wildlife•Parks and Wildlife Commission:Michelle Zimmerman,Chair•Marvin McDaniel,Vice-Chair o"
James Vigil,Secretary a Taishya Adams•Betsy Blecha•Robert W.Bray•Charles Garcia•Marie Haskett 9 Carrie Besnette Hauser•Luke B.Schafer 9 Eden Vardy
