The slurry wall will be installed through alluvial sand and gravel and overburden to an
average depth of 48 feet, and keyed into bedrock shale.
The slurry wall will be constructed from soils present on site. Overburden used for the wall will be
excavated onsite and placed along the perimeter of the wall for blending of slurry fluids and
placement into the wall.
2 water infiltration basins will be built to allow re-charge of the reservoir. The basins will be
excavated to an average depth of 25'. Pond One will be 121,000 cubic yards in size. Pond 2 will be
181,500 cubic yards in size. Overburden and alluvial gravel excavated from the basins will be placed
in graded piles and re-vegetated.
To transfer water from the reservoir, Dixie Water will install 6 water wells (see Figure 2). No other
infrastructure is planned for the site.
Upon completion of the slurry wall, the area will continue to be used for agricultural purposes as a
dryland crop farm.
Read), Mixed Concrete Company Address: 11778 Highwa} 52.
