4
said it was OK with Larry as long as it was OK
with Dr. Corley. I tried to contact Dr. Corley
again that day, but only got the recording on the
machine, and hung up, as I had already left a
message regarding the backEll borrowing issue.
July 21, 1 - Wednesday-I checked my voice mail at work
about rnid morning, 'There were no messages
from Dr. Corley. The, Contractor indicated they
were planning to get a machine in to excavate the
backfill and load their truck the following week,
but that it was possible they might be able to get
one sooner, possibly the next day. I told the
contractor to proceed, and that I would contact
them the following monday to see brow things
were going, and possibly final inspect the job.
July 22, 1 - Thursday-I made a note to try and touch base
with Dr. Corley before leaving on vacation time
at mid day, but was very busy with an over -due
coal review, and did not get the chance before
leaving town.
