The first quarter Sediment Pond Inspection report was received by the
Division on 3 October 2019.
This report appears to be in compliance with the applicable sections of Rule 4.05.9. The
inspection took place on 27, and 28 August and 3, 4, 5, 10 and 24 September 2019.
Maintenance issues were addressed and sediment markers in Horse and Deal were installed. It
appears to DRMS that sediment capacity in Horse (55%) and Middle Flume #3 (55%) ponds is
reaching the upper limits.
Sediment level markers were underwater at the following ponds:
1. East Middle Flume
2. Johnson #7R, 8R, 9R, and IOR
3. East Pyeatt #1, 21 3
4. Middle Flume #3
The following ponds were discharging at a rate of less than 1 cubic foot/second:
1. No Name #2, 4, 5
2. Johnson #6, 7R, 8R, 9R, and IOR
3.
