Exhibit E Skull Creek Sand Project
Phase 3- Revegetation
As needed, additional augmented supplementary seeding will occur in areas where revegetation
has not been established within the 1-2 year time frame following the first application of mulch
and seed.
Schedule
The approximate schedule for application of these reclamation measures is depicted in Map E-
2. The completion of all backfill, soil placement, mulching and seeding is expected to be
complete within approximately 4 years from the start of mining. Final Phase 3 completion will
be dependent upon the need for augmented seeding and the adequate establishment of
reclaim vegetation.
Land Use
As described in Exhibit H, Final reclamation is designed to restore disturbed areas to a safe,
stable condition and to reestablish the productivity of the land consistent with the postmining
land use. The proposed postmining land uses of wildlife habitat, and watershed reflects the pre-
disturbance use of this and adjacent areas, existing land use plans and policies, and practical
constraints relative to land use capability and condition.
The skull Creek Sand Project reclamation plan has been designed to successfully meet these
objectives and will result in effective temporary stabilization, and a postmining configuration
which blends with the surrounding terrain and provides environmental values consistent with
or superior to those which existed prior to mining.
7
10/3/19
