Public Notice
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado
Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on October 4, 2019, a minor revision application (MR-113) to
the New Horizon Mine, Permit No. C-1981-008, operated by Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, LLC,
PO Box 33695, Denver, CO 80233-0695 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The
operator has provided an updated map 2.04.7-1A to bring the map into agreement with the previously
approved water monitoring plan. The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of
the area currently approved for disturbance. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and
Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing.
